Freedom and Detention in Kashmir

A prominent separatist leader, Sheikh Abdul Aziz, has been arrested in Indian-administered Kashmir -- just three days after he was released from five years detention.

Hundreds of people in Pampore, the home town of Mr Aziz a former chief commander of the Al-Jehad group joined street protests against his arrest.

Meanwhile police say that the brother of a former junior minister in the federal government has been released by his abductors. The man, Ghulam Nabi, brother of a former Home Minister, Maqbool Dar, was abducted twelve days ago by unknown assailants.
