Abdullah hopes Indo-Pak summit will break ice

LEH: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah on Friday hoped the coming summit talks between Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Pakistani military ruler Gen Pervez Musharraf would "break the ice" and pave way for further dialogues. "I hope talks between the two leaders will break the ice and facilitate further discussions," Abdullah said at the inaugural function of Sindhu darshan festival here. On converting the line of control (LoC) into a permanent border along Jammu and Kashmir, he said, " I don"t think there is any other solution." Abdullah ruled out trifurcation of the state saying, "any such move will spell end of India's oneness."
