Chennai: THE CHIEF of Army Staff General S Padmanabhan today said talks between Prime Minister A B Vajpayee and Pakistan's military ruler General Pervez Musharraf to resolve the Kashmir issue might be on a "give and take" basis which would yield a positive result as both sides were known to exhibit wisdom. "Of course in all forms of talks there is always an aspect of give and take and I am sure that (the) wisdom that both sides are known to exhibit will stand as a good step, if not immediately, but in due course talks will lead to a positive outcome," he said. General Padmanabhan was inaugurating a housing complex for employees of the Defence Accounts department, at Nandambakkam. He said the initiative taken by the Prime Minister was "laudable." "I, like other Indians, look forward to a positive outcome," the General said.
