Grenade attacks injure 8 soldiers in Kashmir

SRINAGAR: Suspected Islamic rebels lobbed two hand grenades at Indian paramilitary patrols in war-torn Kashmir on Saturday, injuring eight soldiers, police said.Two separate attacks were carried out in a high- security zone in Srinagar, police said.The attackers fled immediately after the attack.The soldiers belonging to the Border Security Force and the Central Reserve Police Force were hospitalised in Sringar.
