Srinagar: A suicide squad of a Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba militant group attacked an army camp in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, killing at least two soldiers, police and the militant group said. Three militants from the Lashkar-e-Taiba group died in the gunbattle that followed the attack in Bagatpora in Kupwara district, a police statement said. A Lashkar spokesman, however, told a Western news agency it had killed six Indian soldiers. The attack was the latest in a series of suicide assaults this year on the army.
