Jammu: In the second such act in a week, terrorists have hacked to death a Muslim girl they suspected of being a police informer. Sixteen-year-old Jameela's beheaded body was found on Friday in the forests surrounding Thanna Mandi, a hilly township in Rajouri district, 160 KM north of this winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir. The terrorists had earlier killed her parents, also suspecting them to be police informers. Jameela was waylaid when she was returning from her grand-mother's place, a little distance from her home in Thanna Mandi. The murderers chopped off the ears and nose of an elderly person and left him to bleed to death in same area. The two killings have shocked and angered the people of the area. But they have refrained from openly protesting the savage acts fearing reprisals. The reticence of these people is understandable because they constantly live in fear of terrorist.
