28 schools closed in Kathua district due to Pak shelling

KATHUA: About 28 schools have been closed in the Kathua district following Pakistani shelling from across the border. Study of over 1867 students have been affected following closure of schools in the bordering areas. According to an official handout, PS Regal, PS Madhwal, PS Londhi, PS Panjgrian, MS Chachwal, MS Chalyari, HS Chak Sadda, PS Mangu Chack, PS Dollian Jattan of Gagyal Education Zone, P S Karole Matharian, M S Ladhwal, M S Spalwan, PS Karole Bidhoo, PS Bobeya, PS Chhan Tanda, PS Gujjar Chak, Manyari, PS Rathua, PS Pansar of Hiranagar Education Zone and P S Dalli and MS Chhan Lal Din of Marheen Education Zone have been closed due to Pakistani firing. Chief Education Officer has directed the concerned ZEOs to make suitable arrangements for the children effected in these institutions. All the students affected by the Pakistani firing will be adjusted in safest schools. Teachers of all these effected schools have been directed to report to the schools where the students have been migrated.
