JuM claims responsibility for attacks on polling

Jammu: Pakistan-backed Jamiat-ul-Mujahideen on Monday claimed responsibility for the attack on two polling stations in Poonch district in which one Punjab Police constable was killed. A person, calling himself a spokesman of JuM and identifying as Jameel Ahmed, called PTI office here to claim that the group had carried out the attacks at polling stations Gursai Inmendhar and Khaniyal in Mendhar area of Poonch and Khaniyal area of Rajouri. A Punjab Police constable Jarnail Singh was killed in the attack at the polling station in Gursai.
