Hizb expels three former commanders7 November 2002 The Times of India PTI SRINAGAR: Pro-Pakistan militant outfit Hizbul Mujahideen on Thursday expelled three former commanders charging them with lobbying for Abdul Majid Dar, who was removed last year following serious differences with the PoK-based leadership. Tufail Altaf, ex-district commander of the outfit for Srinagar, Almas Khan and Nadeem Usmani, both former district administrators of Kupwara district have been expelled from the outfit, a statement released by them said. It said the decision to expel the trio was taken at a meeting of the command council of Hizbul Mujahideen in PoK capital Muzaffarabad on November 5.
