Kashmir solution urged through peaceful means

Islamabad: United Kashmir People''s National Party (UKPNP) President Sardar Sheraz Chughtai has said that Kashmir is dangerous flashpoint of the world, which could spark a catastrophic war in the region. Speaking at a function of the UKPNP Rawalpindi unit reorganization, he said India should realize that the Kashmir problem could only be resolved through peaceful means. He said by adopting aggressive means, no country in the world could solve its problems. Those who spoke on the occasion included Sardar Ishtiaq Ahmad, SG UKPNP, Sardar Zaheer Ahmad Khan, President District Poonch, Sardar Shabbir Ahmad, Sardar Aftab Ahmad Chairman UKNSO and Prof. Shafiuddin. The speakers criticised the successive governments of the AJK for not playing their due role for the cause of Kashmiris. The party leaders expressed their full confidence in the leadership of Sardar Shaukat Ali Kahsmiri advocate, the chairman of the party.
