APHC to open offices in world capitals

SRINAGAR: The All-Parties Hurriyat Conference will open its offices in important capitals across the world including major Indian cities to pro-actively project Kashmiris' cause. This was stated by the former APHC Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq while talking to mediamen in Srinagar. He said the Hurriyet Conference is the voice of Kashmiris and all available resources will be utilized to remind the world of its responsibilities towards resolving long-standing Kashmir dispute in the interest of peace and stability in the region. He added that setting up APHC offices in Indian cities Kolkata, Hyderabad and Chennai besides in the world capitals particularly New York, Geneva, Brussels and Kuala Lumpur is on card, he added. Later talking to Kashmir Media Service on telephone, Mir Waiz emphasised that the BJP- led Indian government had started a sordid campaign to malign the Hurriyat leaders. He pointed out that forcible closure of the APHC office in New Delhi was part of the Indian sinister game plan.
