Vital Clues Found To Nandimarg Massacre: Police

Jammu: A breakthrough in the Nandimarg massacre in which 24 Kashmiri Pandits were killed is expected shortly as the investigating team probing the incident have claimed to have found vital clues. 'Investigation is in full swing and we have got some vital clues which might lead to a breakthrough shortly,' Deputy Inspector General of Police for the twin districts of Anantnag and Pulwama M A Aanjum said on Monday. He said investigating teams set up soon after the last Monday massacre have registered positive progress and got some clues which appeared genuine. However, no one has been arrested so far, the police official said. 'We are working on different leads and clues and have been able to register some progress,' Anjum said but declined to divulge details saying it will hamper investigation.
