New Delhi: India on Thursday brushed aside Pakistan's claims of having closed down some terrorist training camps in that country, saying it would have to see the situation on ground and not go by words and promises. 'We will have to see the situation on the ground. The proof of the pudding is in the eating,' External Affairs Ministry spokesman told reporters here. He was asked about Pakistan Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri's remarks in Islamabad that Pakistan has closed a lot of camps of people being trained for fighting in Kashmir. Such promises have been made in the past, he said adding if there was end to cross-border terrorism, dismantling of terrorist infrastructure and closing of training camps 'it will show on the ground.' 'Until we see that, we will have to wait,' he said. Kasuri had claimed that Pakistan government had stopped public donations for those fighting for Kashmir and also arrested some leaders championing the Kashmir cause.
