APHC asks OIC to pressure India to stop state terrorism

SRINAGAR: All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Chairman Syed Ali Gilani on Monday urged the Organisation of Islamic Countries (OIC) to pressure India to stop state terrorism in Held Kashmir.He said India should adopt a more flexible attitude to resolve the Kashmir issue according to the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.He said Indian claims to be the biggest democracy had been ridiculed by its continued refusal to accept the Kashmiris' right to self- determination. In an interview, APHC leader Ghulam Qadir Haagroo said India denied travel documents to the APHC chairman in order to prevent him from exposing Indian state terrorism at the OIC forum. Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party Chief Shabbir Ahmad Shah criticised the Indian government's refusal to allow the OIC Kashmir Contact Groups' delegation to visit the occupied Kashmir.Other APHC leaders, Ghulam Nabi Sumji, Muhammad Yousaf Mujahid, and General Secretary Muhammad Yousaf Mir were also present. -APP
