JAMMU: The Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, said today that world opinion was in India's favour on the Kashmir issue and Pakistan was getting increasingly isolated due to its wrong policies. Talking to The Hindu here, he said: 'The world is increasingly appreciative of India's stand on the Kashmir issue and many misconceptions have been cleared in different quarters. The people are better informed and no longer is the opinion biased towards any particular country. The international community is convinced that the continuing violence in the State would only add to the pain and miseries of the people.' 'During my informal conversations with many sections, I realised that the reality is even dawning on some Pakistanis based abroad. Some of them are accepting the need to put an end to this vicious cycle of violence and know it very well that any country supporting or abetting violence here would only be doing so at its own cost. They know it very well that this would destroy the social fabric of their own country.'
