Srinagar: Border Security Force (BSF) foiled militants' bid to disrupt polling in Baramulla parliamentary constituency as they unearthed an ammunition dump from a school building in the district late Sunday night. Acting on a tip-off about presence of dumps, troops of 55 battalion of the force raided higher secondary school situated at Sheikh colony in Hathishah-Sopore and recovered 4800 AK ammunition, a BSF spokesman confirmed. He said the consignment was meant for carrying out subversive acts during elections. Baramulla parliamentary constituency is one of the two constituencies of the state going to polls on Tuesday.
