'Army Ready For J&K Summer Heat'

New Delhi: The Army will strive hard to thwart cross-border infiltration bids in the coming summer months to ensure the ongoing talks between the government and the Hurriyat Conference are not derailed. With the project to fence 580 km of the 778-km-long LoC on the verge of completion now, coupled with the use of surveillance devices, the Army hopes to check infiltration by as much as 90% in the coming days.
