Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference (A) Chairman Moulana Abbass Hussain Ansari has asked United Jehad Council (UJC) for the better interests of the ongoing movement not to issue statements which cause chaos and confusion. In a statement, he said he is not afraid of death and is ready for it. UJC had said that Ansari is anti-movement and pro- India and that he intended to involve freedom fighters into the recent attacks on the uncle and residence of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq. The moderate leader was asked to re-join the movement or face public court. The Hurriyat chairman said his conglomerate's statements issued after the twin attacks did not mention UJC. 'When we did not say anyhting about UJC why did it target me', he said. Ansari claimed that an attempt was made to trigger off Shia-Sunni riots by attacking Molvi Mushtaq.
