New Delhi: The Ittehaadi Force on Saturday warned both factions of the Hurriyat against hindering the reunification process launched by it. The outfit, formed seven months after the Hurriyat split, is aimed at striking a rapprochement between the two groups and is a loose forum comprising the Yasin Malik-led JKLF, Sheikh Aziz-led People's League and Shabir Shah's Democratic Freedom Party, the Kashmir Bar Association and a few social and religious groups. Aziz hit out at individuals in both factions for 'blocking' the Force's efforts to bring about a reconciliation between the moderate group led by Maulana Abbas Ansari and the Syed Ali Shah Geelani-led hardline faction. Meanwhile, two ruling PDP workers, three militants and two Army jawans were among 11 people killed in separate incidents in Jammu and Kashmir even as security forces seized a huge cache of arms and ammunition on Thursday evening.
