Srinagar: Mainstream and separatist leaders converged at the residence of slain Awami Action Committee (ACC) leader Moulvi Mushtaq Ahmad to offer their condolences. They included chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Prof Abdul Gani Bhat, Mohammad Yasin Malik, Bilal Gani Lone and Javid Mir. When Mufti reached the residence of Molvi, three leaders- Geelani, Bhat and Bilal were already present there. While Bhat and Bilal were sitting on one side, Geelani was offering condolences to Mirwaiz Umar Farooq. When the chief minister entered there he was taken towards Bhat, who was his class fellow in SP college here and also a companion in Aligarh Muslim University . Mufti sat besides the separatist leader for about 15 minutes. They exchanged pleasantries. During that time Geelani remained busy with Mirwaiz and the former offered fateh. Geelani avoided Mufti, Bhat and Bilal and left after offering fateh. The chief minister then went to Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and offered his condolences. Molvi Manzoor and Moulvi Shafat were also present there. After spending 15 minutes with Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, chief minister finally left.
