Islamabad: Pakistan has rejected the Indian print media reports attributing remarks to EU Ambassador F. Camara Gomes, that Kashmir was part of India. A Senior Official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the statement attributed by the Indian press to Gomes does not reflect the official position of the EU. He said the international community and the United Nations recognize Jammu and Kashmir as a disputed territory, which is the subject of several UN Security Council resolutions. These resolutions explicitly establish the disputed status of Jammu and Kashmir as well as prescribe modalities for determining its future disposition. No amount of fudging can believe facts and this reality.
