Kashmir Stance Not To Be Changed: Mushahid

Islamabad: Pakistan will never back away from its principled stance on Kashmir, said Mushahid Hussain Syed, Secretary General of Pakistan Muslim League on Thursday. 'We only want peaceful solution of Kashmir issue, as it is major issue of contention with India and without its solution the talks process will be an exercise in futility,' he observed this while talking to Syed Hussain Shaheed Sarwar Advocate of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference UK chapter. Syed Hussain Shaheed Advocate was heading a five-member delegation of MC UK chapter that called on PML Secretary General. Mushahid went on to say that Kashmir ranks top amongst on the talk agenda with India. 'People of Pakistan and Kashmir must not loose heart as not only government of Pakistan is holding parlays with India but is also highlighting the issue at international forums,' he remarked. Mushahid Hussain is of the view that freedom is Kashmiris birth right. 'No body can deny them their birth right and for getting them to their destiny, Pakistan will continue its moral, political and diplomatic support to Kashmiris. Speaking on the occasion Kashmiri leader Hussain Shaheed Sarwar said that overseas Pakistanis and Kashmiris are busy in highlighting Kashmir issue not only in UK but all around the globe. He also apprised PML Secretary General of his meetings with British as well as members of European parliament. He added that people of Europe are interested in Kashmir solution. Referring his attention to rumours of formation of PML in Azad Kashmir, he said this is merely wrong. 'PML and MC are based on similar ideology and there is no need of PML in Azad Kashmir,' he added.
