Terrorists Attack I-Day Celebrations In J&K Army Camp

Srinagar: Terrorists on Sunday attacked an Independence Day function of the Army unit in Dangiwachi area of Baramulla district, injuring at least 10 civilians, official sources said in Srinagar. The terrorists fired a rifle grenade towards the school building, where 28 Rashtriya Rifles had organised an I-Day function, which exploded in a secluded corner of the compound, the sources said. As many as 10 people, all of them civilians, received splinter injuries in the attack and have been moved to a local hospital for treatment, the sources said. No terrorist outfit has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
