Srinagar: Hardline Hurriyat Conference leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani today opposed the opening of Srinagar-Muzaffarabad road and said talks between India and Pakistan would not succeed till they accepted Kashmir as a dispute. 'Opening of Muzaffarabad road will not relieve people of the sufferings and miseries being faced by them,' he said, addressing a Friday congregation at Kulgam in Anantnag. Geelani said talks between India and Pakistan would be 'meaningless' till they accept Kashmir as a dispute and make a serious effort to resolve it. 'The two countries have been engaged in talks for the last eight months but nothing has come out of the dialogue so far,' he said.
