Anwar asks Kashmiris to get ready for final round with India

NEW JERSEY,: President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Maj Gen (Retd), Sardar Anwar mahmud Khan has called upon the people of Kashmir to get ready for final round with India for resolution of core issue of Kashmir.   The AJK President e was addressing a reception arranged in his hounour here on Tuesday. The function was presided over by Kashmiri leader Capt (Retd) Shaheen Khalid Butt and was arranged by Chief Organiser of Muslim Conference North America Syed Aftab Hussain Shah.   He said that no one has played an effective role in highlighting Kashmir issue except the people of Kashmir who sacrificed their lives for the cause of success of freedom movement.   He called upon the people of Kashmir not to expect more from the United States and other Western countries for the resolution of Kashmir issue and prepare themselves for final round with India for liberation of their motherland.   Sardar Anwar said that the Security Council should arrange plebiscite in occupied Kashmir as it was promised with the people of occupied territory and they were ready to fulfil all conditionalties in this regards.   He said that today the world community has been aware of sensitivity of the Kashmir issue following freedom struggle launched by Mujahideen that also paved the ways for Agra Summit between Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf and former Indian prime minister Atal Behari Vajpayee as well as Islamabad Declaration.   He demanded that the Kashmir issue should be resolved in accordance with the wishes of people of Kashmir. He said that the people of Kashmir have sacrificed their three generations for the cause of liberation of their motherland from Indian yoke and were ready for more sacrifices for this noble cause.   Rejecting the documentation of Mahraja Hari Singh regarding accession to India, he said that the people of Kashmir never accepted it in the past and they wanted just peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue.   He said that the Vajpayee government had taken some initiatives for resolution of Kashmir issue but after their defeat in the elections, the situation has became again complicated as the Congress government led by manmohan Singh has different approach on the issue and also has a miner majority in the Lok Sabha that may not allow it to take bold decisions.
