UK Releases Kashmiri Freedom Leader After 23 Years Detention

Khoi Ratta: The freedom leader of Kashmir freedom struggle Raja Abdul Qayyum detained for last 23 years in United Kingdom was released by British authorities.Talking to Online via telephone, he said British authorities on Indian pressure detained him for 21 years. The two years were consumed in investigation process. 'After my release when I was asked whether I want to stay in UK or want to go back. I preferred coming back because how could I stay in a country where there are tall claims of justice but actually there exists no rule of law', he said. During 23 years of his detention British authorities could not prove the allegations levelled against him, he added.
