Islamabad: Federal Information Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said on Saturday that the Kashmir issue might take two to three years to resolve. 'Pakistan is ready to show flexibility to resolve the longstanding issue of Kashmir provided India also does so,' Rashid said at a press conference. He said it did not mean that Pakistan had given up UN resolutions on Kashmir. 'We want a solution to the issue according to Kashmiris' wishes,' he said, adding Pakistan was looking for a respectable and acceptable solution of the issue without victory or defeat to anybody. He said Prime Minister Manmohan Sigh's visit to Pakistan within three months would boost peace efforts.
