Washington: Pakistan has selected two from a list of three neutral experts the World Bank had recommended last month to help resolve a water dispute with India, official sources told Dawn. The decision was conveyed to the bank on Monday. The World Bank had recommended three experts Francisco Gomide of Brazil, Raymond Lasite of Switzerland and Donald Blackmore of Australia to help India and Pakistan resolve their dispute over the Baglihar dam project. Sources said Pakistan had informed the bank that both Australian and Swiss experts were acceptable to it and had left it to the bank to choose one of the two. India also has sent its recommendations to the bank but has not disclosed the names yet.
