New Delhi: Welcoming the pledge made by President General Pervez Musharraf not to allow terrorism to impede bilateral peace process, Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Thursday made it clear that 'much will depend' on the actual ground situation on cross-border infiltration after the snow-bound passes open in summer in Kashmir . 'We have to remain alert because extremist forces are still active,' he said in the Lok Sabha during a special discussion regarding recent visits of Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and Musharraf to India . Singh, quoted by Indian media said both he and Musharraf were committed to making the peace process 'truly irreversible' facilitating resolution of all outstanding issues between the two countries . 'Of course, much will depend on the actual situation on the ground, with regard to cross- border infiltration,' he said.
