Two militants killed in Kashmir

Srinagar: The Border Security Force (BSF) killed two militants on Sunday while militants shot dead a person and abducted two others in Kashmir during the past 24 hours. A BSF spokesman told UNI that on specific information, troops of the 173 and 53 battalions along with the Special Operation Group of the Jammu and Kashmir Police conducted a search operation at Ganai Mohalla in Pulwama district. Militants fired upon the search party and in the encounter two militants were killed. Militants shot at Ghulam Nabi Mir at Zoonimar Soura, who later died. Militants abducted a girl at Gujarpati Argam in Bandipora and a VDC member, Mohammad Rafiq Katoch in Ramban area of Jammu region.
