Nine injured in blasts in Kashmir

Srinagar: Nine people, including three policemen, were injured and a police vehicle damaged in two separate blasts triggered by militants in Srinagar and Anantnag districts of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, the police said. Militants hurled a grenade on a police patrolling party outside Chhatti Padshahi Gurdwara in Rainawari area here, It exploded on the main road wounding three policemen and six pedestrains. Militant outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad, in a statement, claimed responsibility for the blast. At Takiabal in Anantnag district, Hizbul Mujahideen militants triggered an improvised explosive device (IED).
