APHC Concerned About State-terrorism

Islamabad: In Srinagar (IHK), the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, at a meeting of its Executive Council today, expressed grave concern over stepped- up Indian state-terrorism in occupied Kashmir. The meeting was presided over by the APHC Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and attended among others by Professor Abdul Ghani Butt, Maulana Abbas Ansari, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi, Bilal Ghani Lone and Fazal Haq Qureshi, PTV reported.The meeting strongly denounced desecration by Indian troops of a mosque and the Holy Quran in Trehgam area. It also took strong exception to the killing of two protesters in the wake of indiscriminate firing by Indian troops on peaceful demonstrators, protesting against the sacrilege. Mirwaiz Umar Farooq pointed out that India did not seem to be serious in resolving Kashmir dispute because it wanted to continue talks process and Kashmiris' genocide simultaneously. The troops destroyed a residential house in Batapora area of Handwara and dead body of a youth was recovered from the debris.
