107 cross LoC at Kaman Post

Srinagar: The Karvaan-e-Aman bus today left here for Muzaffarabad with 40 passengers on board while 67 reached here from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) under tight security arrangements, official sources said. They said 40 passengers boarded the bus this morning for Aman Setu, the last border point on the Line of Control (LoC) on the Indian side. The passengers later crossed the Kaman bridge by foot and boarded the bus from the other side for Muzaffarabad, the capital of PoK. The passengers included 24 residents of Jammu and Kashmir who are visiting PoK for the first time to meet their relatives separated in 1947. They said 16 were returnee passengers who had come from PoK to meet relatives here. The sources said of 67 passengers from PoK, 51 were fresh and 16 returnee. Of the 51 fresh passengers from PoK, 32 were men, 18 women and one child.
