Yasin Presents Rigging Evidences To CEC

Islamabad: Secretary General Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Azad Jammu Kashmir, Chaudhry Yasin presented the evidence of rigging and involvement of government officers in changing the results of the elections in his constituency. Chaudhry Yasin gave the proof of changing election results in his constituency in a hurriedly called meeting with Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Justice Riaz Akhtar Muhammad Chaudhry on Saturday. He informed that announcement of the results of his constituency were delayed for 12 hours. He claimed that he had won the election with a lead of 8,000 votes, but the result was changed at a place, which is situated at a distance of 20 minutes from the offices of the Presiding Officer. He also alleged that a military officer Major Shakeel played a pivotal role in changing his election results.
