Srinagar: A group of tourists had a miraculous escape in the Jammu and Kashmir capital on Thursday morning when a grenade aimed at their bus fell on the road instead and exploded without causing any casualties. The tourists were on way to the north Kashmir health resort of Sonamarg when militants tossed a grenade at their bus in Rainawari in downtown Srinagar. 'The grenade hit the bus but fell on the road. It exploded without causing any injuries,' said a police officer here. 'Luckily, the grenade fell on the road,' he said. Police and paramilitary forces searched the Rainawari locality after the explosion on Thursday. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the blast.
