Srinagar: Six persons, including four Pakistani intruders, were killed as security forces foiled an infiltration attempt and recovered a big haul of arms and ammunition in Jammu and Kashmir since last night. Four heavily armed militants were killed when they intruded from across the border and took refuge in Bagtoor area of Gurez sector in Baramulla district last night, a defence spokesman said today. A civilian, Ghulam Hassan Najar, was also killed when he was caught in crossfire between the militants and the troops during the Army operation which was launched yesterday following information about sneaking of militants into the village. Four AK rifles, 16 magazines and 14 hand grenades were recovered from the killed militants, he said adding the operation in the area was still in progress. In another incident, militants shot dead one Muneer Khatana at Mirgund- Kangan, 40 kms from here, on Srinagar-Leh national highway last night. Khatana was apparently killed by militants as his brother is employed in the army, the sources said.
