Jammu: Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad Saturday firmly indicated that the much-awaited cabinet reshuffle will take place before the assembly session next month.Azad, who was here in connection with celebration of 'Jashan-e-Jammu' - an event to celebrate the creation of eight new districts, four of them for the Jammu region, was speaking to reporters. The session is scheduled for sometime next month. The speculation about a reshuffle gained momentum following a two-hour meeting the chief minister had with People's Democratic Party (PDP) patron and his immediate predecessor Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti in Srinagar Saturday before he flew in to Jammu.PDP is the second largest alliance partner in the ruling coalition, currently headed by the Congress. The reshuffle has been awaited since Azad took over in November last year.At present, there are 13 ministers, including the chief minister. Many regions and ethnic groups are aspiring for a berth in the ministry.
