2 Qaida CDs Recovered In J&K8 September 2006 The Times of India
Srinagar: Security forces on Friday recovered two CDs, containing a film on a training camp being operated by Al Qaida at an unknown location along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, from the possession of two slain Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. The LeT terrorists were killed during an encounter at Mehandar in Poonch of Jammu earlier, DGP Gopal Sharma said. The CDs in Arabic language show Al Qaida chief Osama bin Laden delivering speech to new recruits at the training camp and inspiring them to join the jihadi cause. The CDs also show youths getting physical training, shooting and riding horses. The youths are also shown singing motivational songs. S P Vaid, Jammu IGP, said, 'This is nothing new. We have recovered such CDs as well as inflammatory literature earlier too.'
