Srinagar: Two Lashkar-e-Toiba guerrillas holed up inside a house in Jammu and Kashmir's Pampore town have been killed after a prolonged exchange of bullets with security forces, police said on Monday. Police said troops of 50 Rashtriya Rifles surrounded the house in Pampore, 20 km from Srinagar, late Sunday and came under heavy fire from the two hiding LeT guerrillas. 'The fire was returned and in the heavy firing exchanges that continued till late, two militants of LeT were killed,' said a senior police official. The house in which the guerrillas were hiding was completely destroyed and arms and ammunition, including two AK-47 rifles, seized.
