Baramulla: Two more families, comprising 13 members, surrendered before the troops immediately after their return from Pakistan- occupied Kashmir (PoK) at Tulanga in the Uri sector . Official sources said Mohammad Sageer and Bashir Ahmad had crossed into PoK in 1990 for receiving arms training. However, after getting training in different camps, they married local girls there. But, after remaining there for about 16 years, both decided to return with their families to their homes at Gohalan, Uri. They said the Kashmiris were not being trusted by the people in the PoK and other Pakistani cities. About a dozen families have so far surrendered in Uri and other sectors after their return from PoK since January this year. More than 30 militants had also surrendered along with their arms and ammunition near the Line of Control (LoC) in the Uri sectors during the same period.
