Nationalists Parties urge EU to approve Nicholson report without any amendment

Islamabad: Declaring Emma Nicholson report based on fact, Nationalist Parties of Jammu and Kashmir have appealed to European Union to approve it without any amendment . On Thursday here, All Parties National Alliance (APNA) organized a round table conference on the issue of current scenario of Held Valley, Kashmir and its future in the light of Emma Nicholson report. Chairman APNA Mirza Wajahat Hassan Khan chaired the moot. Intellectuals, Nationalist parties and Progressive parties hailing from Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK), Pakistan and Held Kashmir participated in the moot. Mirza Nadir Hassan Khan, Prof. M. A. R. K Khaliq, Iqbal Advocate, Ahmad Ali Jan, Farooq Niazi Advocate, Sabir Kashmir Advocate, Ashfaq Ullah Shall, Sardar Aftab Khan, Sardar Azhar Kashir, Sardar Azad Qadri, Sadar Ashiq Mehmood and Sardar Abid Khurshid were among the participant who actively participated in the debate on Emma Nicholson report. Speakers termed the political, social and constitutional situation of Jammu Kashmir especially AJK, Gilgit, Baltistan (JB) deteriorated, as mentioned in the report. For the first time, brutalities of Pakistan Government, Pakistan Army and agencies was mentioned in any report, they added. They paid rich tribute to Emma Nicholson. Speakers appealed to European Union to approve the Emma Nicholson report without making any amendment in it. The Participants also strongly condemned the AJK Government that had spent million dollars to make amendment in the report but to no avail.
