Srinagar: A three-wheeled load carrier was ripped apart by a powerful explosive device on Shariefabad Road near an Army unit here on Friday, police said. Panic gripped the people in the Abli Shah locality of Kushipora near the Shariefabad headquarters of the Army's Kilo Force — spearheading the anti-militant drive in North Kashmir — as they ran for cover after the blast, believed to have been caused by an improvised explosive device (IED), a police spokesman said. .
