Arms Cache Recovered From Militant Hideout In Doda

Jammu: Security forces have unearthed a militant hideout and recovered from it a huge cache of arms in Doda district of the state, defence sources said today. After receiving intelligence inputs, security forces launched a search operation at Baryarna in the district and busted a natural cave type of hideout there yesterday, they said. One UBGL launcher with eight grenades, one Chinese hand grenade, five Pakistan made hand grenades, one RPG shell, two SLR magazines, 151 rounds of assorted ammunition, one radio set, 16 gelatin sticks, one detonator and two meters safety fuse were seized from the hideout, they said. Besides, 17 pencil cells, 70 kgs wheat and 10 utensils were also recovered from the hideout, they said, adding the hideout was later destroyed.
