Army Dedicates MS Building, Water Scheme To Border Villagers

Poonch: The Army dedicated a new middle school building and a water supply scheme to the people of Tain, a remote village in the Mendhar area of Poonch district. This scheme was inaugurated by the Commander, Krishna Ghati Brigade in presence of large gathering of civilians and the SDM, Mendhar, M A Pir, Deputy Chief Education Officer, Ashraf Chouhan, BDO Mohd Tanveer and school students. The scheme was sanctioned under Border Area Development Project (BADP) and executed by Bara Singha Battalion of the Army. The school building will provide facility to the students in pursuing education in this village. The much-needed water supply scheme will benefit the villagers of this area. The authorities and villagers expressed deep gratitude to the Army for coming to the assistance of the civilians in this border area. They praised the Army for their helping hand as also providing them assistance and security.
