Jammu: Alert Border Security Force (BSF) men foiled an attempt of the three Myanmar nationals to ex-filtrate on that side of the International Border in R S Pura sub-sector last night. Reports said a night patrol of 141 Battalion of BSF noticed the movement of some persons towards Zeroline, closer to Alla Mai De Kothe border post at around 2 am. When they came closer to firing range, the jawans challenged them at gun point and arrested. The captured youth were taken to nearby BSF post, where they disclosed that they had come here from Myanmar (Burma) in a train and brought close to border by a guide. No recovery could be made from them except little Indian currency. They also disclosed that their guide slipped away by showing them the passage to Pakistan about half an hour before being captured near border. They were identified as Mohd Ali from district Rangiadang, Abdul Rahim and Abdul Zabar, both residents of district Ikop in Myanmar. They were handed over to Border police this evening. This is the same area from where a group of 27 Myanmar nationals were captured by security forces three days earlier. They were also trying to ex-filtrate. A sudden spurt in the influx of Myanmar nationals in Jammu sector has drawn the attention of the security agencies towards their movement across the border. The arrested foreign nationals are being placed under sustained interrogation to know their real cause of ex-filtration to Pak using J&K border.
