OGW Apprehended, Arms Cache Recovered In JK

Jammu: Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir have arrested one over ground worker (OGW) of militants and recovered rations and clothes left behind by fleeing militants in Mahore area of Reasi district in the state, defence sources said here today. On a tip off, troops of Rashtriya Rifles launched a search operation in general area of Hela, five kms from Mahore last evening, they said, adding they recovered some items left behind by militants. The recoveries included five blankets, one combat dress and assorted rations. During further search operation in the area, they apprehended an OGW Khushi Mohammad, they said. Mohammad, belonging to Angrala village in Reasi, is suspected of providing logistic support to terrorist Manzoor Ahmed of Lashker-e-Toiba outfit, the sources said. He was later handed over to the police, they said.
