Islamabad: AJK Prime Minister Sardar Atiq Ahmad Khan has said that excellent working relationship continues between the AJK government and the newly-elected democratic government of Pakistan. Talking to APP here on Friday at a marriage ceremony, he revealed that more entry points were being opened on the Line of Control (LoC) to encourage free movement of Jammu and Kashmir people living on its either sides. Sardar Atiq said Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani had sought good working relationship between the governments of the AJK and Pakistan. Federal Kashmir Affairs Minister Qamar Zaman Keira has also unequivocally declared during his recent visit to Mirpur that the federal government had no intention to disturb the mandate of the present popularly-elected democratic government of the AJK. Sardar Atiq said the unequivocal stance adopted by the Pakistan prime minister and the Kashmir affairs minister about maintaining a cordial working relationship with the AJK government had frustrated the hopes of the rivals and the opponent elements, who were willing to see a change of government in the AJK. Atiq said his government was grateful to the Pakistan government for its unflinching commitment and support to the indigenous struggle of the Kashmiris for freedom and their birth right to self determination.
