JKLF Terms Omar, Mehbooba’s Speeches As ‘deceitful’

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Wednesday termed the speeches made in the Parliament on Tuesday by MPs Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti as ‘deceitful.’ Reacting to their speeches made in Lok Sabha, a spokesman of the Front said that both the parties PDP and National Conference voted for government as they were eyeing the forth-coming assembly elections in the state. “Both NC and PDP had refused to vote for the Congress in the state when it was reduced to minority, but both parties have supported the Congress led UPA in the center as want to keep them in good humour ahead of the elections,” the spokesman said. “Omar Abdullah might talk about Gujarat issue but he was a part of the NDA when they were in power. His father and NC Patron Dr Farooq Abdullah was at the forefront in NDA’s all-India campaign,” he said. He said it was NDA, which bought PDP in power in 2002 elections.
