New Delhi: Indian Army Chief Gen. Deepak Kapoor is on a visit to Ladakh and the Siachen glacier in Jammu and Kashmir. Sources described the visit as a routine one. The Army chief left for the area late last week. The Ladakh area which borders China has been in the limelight this year amid frequent reports of border transgressions by the Chinese People’s Liberation Army into Indian territory.
