Kozhikode: The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha today charged PDP Chairman Abdul Nasser Madani with initiating the process of sending youths from the state to Pakistan for training in extremist activities. 'It is Madani who started the process and former Police Commissioner Neera Rawat had stated this in her deposition before the Marad Judicial Commission long ago,' K Surendran, state President of BJYM, the youth wing of BJP, told reporters here. Noting that the police official could have not made such a statement without specific intelligence reports, Surendran sought a detailed probe into the activities of PDP. The Morcha's charge comes a day after Madani claimed that neither he nor any PDP activist had extremist links. Madani had blamed the Muslim League and the BJP for carrying out a 'misinformation campaign' against his party by trying to involve it in the issue arising out of the killing of four suspected terrorists hailing from Kerala in a recent encounter in Jammu and Kashmir.
